Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Perform a comprehensive range of high-quality manicure and pedicure services, including but not limited to classic, French, spa, and gel treatments.
- Skillfully apply, maintain, and remove various types of artificial nail enhancements, such as acrylics, hard gels, dip powders, and soft gel extensions (e.g., Gel-X).
- Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle to recommend suitable nail services, colors, and treatments.
- Create custom and intricate nail art using various techniques, including freehand painting, stamping, airbrushing, and the application of gems, foils, and other embellishments.
- Maintain a steadfast commitment to salon and state board sanitation and sterilization standards, including cleaning and disinfecting all tools, equipment, and workstations between clients.
- Provide relaxing hand, arm, and foot massages as part of manicure and pedicure services to enhance the client experience.
- Educate clients on proper at-home nail care, recommending aftercare routines and professional retail products to maintain the health and appearance of their nails.
- Assess the condition of clients' nails, skin, and cuticles, identifying any potential issues and advising them on appropriate care or when to seek medical advice.
- Build and nurture a loyal client base through exceptional customer service, personalized attention, and consistent, high-quality work.
