Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Act as the central communication hub for network-related projects, ensuring all stakeholders, from technical teams to leadership, are kept informed of project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Develop, manage, and meticulously maintain detailed project schedules and work breakdown structures using project management software, tracking progress against established timelines.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and allocation of resources, including network engineers, field technicians, and vendor support, to ensure optimal workflow and task completion.
  • Facilitate key project meetings, including project kick-offs, weekly status updates, and risk assessment sessions, by preparing agendas, distributing materials, and documenting minutes and action items.
  • Meticulously track project deliverables and tasks to ensure they are completed on schedule and meet the defined scope and quality requirements.
  • Manage the procurement process for network hardware, software, and circuits, including generating purchase orders, tracking shipments, and coordinating delivery logistics with various sites.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors and service providers, managing relationships and holding them accountable for their deliverables and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, status reports, risk registers, and change logs, within a centralized repository like SharePoint or Confluence.
  • Proactively identify, document, and escalate potential project risks, issues, and dependencies to the Project Manager, proposing mitigation strategies where possible.
  • Assist in the financial management of projects by tracking project-related expenses, monitoring budget burn rates, and providing data for financial forecasting and reporting.
  • Coordinate and schedule network changes, maintenance windows, and cutovers, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations by following established change management procedures.
  • Validate project scope and requirements with stakeholders to ensure a clear and mutual understanding before and during project execution.
  • Create and distribute regular, clear, and concise status reports to project teams and management, highlighting progress, upcoming activities, and any project impediments.
  • Support the planning and execution of network infrastructure deployments for new office builds, relocations, or site expansions from initiation to closure.
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of network assets and project-related materials, ensuring accurate records for auditing and asset management purposes.

Secondary Functions

  • Assist Senior Project Managers in developing project plans, defining project scope, and creating initial budget estimates for new initiatives.
  • Support the creation and refinement of standardized project management templates and processes to improve efficiency and consistency across the department.
  • Coordinate post-project activities, such as conducting lessons-learned sessions and ensuring all project documentation is finalized and archived correctly.
  • Provide administrative support for project teams, including managing access to project tools, scheduling complex multi-stakeholder meetings, and preparing presentation materials.
  • Triage incoming project-related service requests and inquiries, routing them to the appropriate technical personnel and tracking them to resolution.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
