Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Proactively seek out and engage new business opportunities through a multi-channel approach, including strategic cold calling, targeted email campaigns, and professional social selling.
  • Manage the complete, end-to-end sales cycle, from initial lead generation and prospecting to conducting discovery calls, negotiating terms, and successfully closing new business.
  • Develop a comprehensive and deep understanding of the company’s full suite of products and services to effectively articulate our unique value proposition to diverse potential clients.
  • Conduct thorough needs-analysis and discovery conversations to uncover a prospect's specific challenges, pain points, and critical business objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling, high-impact sales presentations and customized product demonstrations that are tailored to address the specific needs of each prospective client.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a robust and healthy sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting of future sales and diligently tracking all key performance metrics in the CRM system.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong, trust-based, long-lasting relationships with newly acquired clients, guaranteeing a smooth and professional handover to the account management or customer success teams.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Skillfully negotiate pricing, contract terms, and conditions of sales agreements to ensure mutual satisfaction and a win-win outcome for both the client and the company.
  • Stay rigorously informed about emerging industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to proactively identify new business opportunities and potential competitive threats.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align on lead generation strategies, provide valuable feedback on campaign effectiveness, and help refine messaging.
  • Maintain meticulous, accurate, and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status within the designated CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Respond with urgency and professionalism to all inbound inquiries and marketing-qualified leads, ensuring a positive and efficient prospect experience.
  • Qualify leads from various marketing and outbound sources to meticulously determine their potential as viable, long-term customers.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans designed to maximize revenue generation and market penetration within your assigned segment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients during the crucial initial onboarding phase, adeptly addressing any questions or concerns to build early confidence.
  • Provide clear, concise, and regular reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and market feedback to the sales management team.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm at industry networking events, trade shows, and conferences to generate new leads and build brand awareness.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with internal teams—including product, engineering, and support—to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer journey from day one.
  • Continuously refine your sales methodology, pitch, and approach based on performance data, constructive feedback, and evolving market dynamics.

  • CRM Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in using CRM platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM for pipeline management, tracking, and reporting.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Proven ability to build, manage, and forecast a sales pipeline from lead to close.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Expertise in using various tools and techniques for prospecting, including cold outreach, social selling (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator), and lead databases.
  • MS Office / Google Workspace: High proficiency in creating presentations (PowerPoint/Slides), analyzing data (Excel/Sheets), and professional communication (Word/Docs).

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range:
