Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Proactively identify, research, and target potential clients and new market segments through a variety of channels, including outbound prospecting, social selling, and networking.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and business development objectives.
  • Build and maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline, managing leads from initial contact through to qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
  • Master and articulate the company's value proposition, demonstrating a deep understanding of our products, services, and competitive differentiators.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls and needs-analysis sessions with key decision-makers to uncover their business challenges, pain points, and strategic goals.
  • Create and deliver compelling, high-impact sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of prospective clients.
  • Author and present detailed, persuasive business proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and commercial agreements that clearly outline the proposed solution and ROI.
  • Lead the negotiation of complex contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements to secure profitable and sustainable new business.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and C-level executives within target organizations.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and enhance our brand presence.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and refine lead generation campaigns and sales collateral.
  • Achieve expert-level knowledge of the industry landscape, staying current on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs.
  • Manage the seamless transition of new clients to the account management or customer success teams to ensure a successful onboarding experience.
  • Meticulously track all sales activities, communications, and pipeline progression in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to sales leadership.

Secondary Functions

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams by providing feedback from the market and prospective clients to inform future product development.
  • Assist in the development of sales enablement materials, including case studies, whitepapers, and presentation decks.

Educational Background
