Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Design and execute A/B tests on headlines, content formats, and on-site promotional placements to optimize for click-through rate, engagement, and other desired user actions.
  • Analyze referral traffic from search engines, social media, and newsletters to understand how different platforms contribute to audience growth and inform off-platform distribution strategies.
  • Track the performance of key editorial initiatives and special projects, providing a comprehensive view of their impact on audience growth, brand perception, and revenue goals.
  • Build and manage audience segments based on behavior, loyalty, and demographic data to support personalized content recommendations and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Investigate and contextualize anomalous data trends, digging deep to understand the "why" behind sudden spikes or dips in traffic or engagement.
