Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Provide direct leadership, mentorship, and supervision to a team of night security officers, ensuring all posts are staffed correctly and duties are performed to established standards.
- Conduct regular and unscheduled patrols of the interior and exterior of the premises to deter, detect, and report security breaches, safety hazards, and unauthorized individuals.
- Act as the primary incident commander during all overnight emergencies, including medical situations, fire alarms, security threats, and facility issues, until relieved by senior management or emergency services.
- Author, review, and approve detailed, accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, ensuring clarity and completeness for follow-up actions.
- Manage and monitor advanced security systems, including CCTV surveillance, access control systems, and alarm panels, to identify and respond to potential issues in real-time.
- Enforce all company policies, procedures, and post orders consistently and fairly, providing corrective guidance to team members as necessary.
- Facilitate ongoing and on-the-job training for night shift security personnel, covering topics such as emergency procedures, report writing, and customer service.
- Serve as the main point of liaison with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical services during incidents, providing them with accurate and timely information.
- Perform comprehensive security and safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and lighting, documenting deficiencies and initiating work orders for repairs.
- Manage the secure check-in/out of keys, radios, and other essential security equipment, conducting regular inventory and ensuring all items are in proper working order.

Experience Requirements
