Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative data analysis to evaluate program performance, identify trends, and measure outcomes against established goals and logic models.
- Develop, refine, and manage robust data collection systems, processes, and tools—including surveys, intake forms, focus group protocols, and interview guides—to ensure the highest standards of data integrity and quality.

- Collaborate closely with program managers and frontline staff to develop a deep understanding of program operations, challenges, and data needs, fostering a culture of data-informed decision-making.
- Manage and maintain the integrity of program databases (e.g., Salesforce, Apricot, custom databases), performing regular data cleaning, quality assurance checks, and user support.
- Support the grant lifecycle by providing essential data for proposals, performance reports, and grant renewals, ensuring all reporting requirements are met accurately and on time.
- Lead and contribute to formal program evaluations, including needs assessments, process evaluations, and outcome/impact studies, from design to data collection and analysis to final reporting.
- Develop and implement standardized monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks and indicator tracking systems across various programs to ensure consistency and comparability.
- Train program staff on data collection best practices, database usage, and the importance of data quality to build organizational capacity for data literacy.
- Research and synthesize best practices, emerging trends, and relevant external data to provide context for program performance and inform strategic planning.
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests from internal and external stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information to support decision-making and inquiries.
- Author and co-author reports, white papers, and briefs that communicate the organization's impact and contribute to the broader knowledge base in our field.
- Facilitate learning sessions and workshops with program teams to review data, reflect on findings, and collaboratively develop strategies for continuous program improvement.
- Automate and streamline data collection and reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce the administrative burden on program staff.
