  • Analyze large, complex datasets combining nutritional information, biometric data, and consumer feedback to identify actionable trends and inform the development of personalized nutrition algorithms.
  • Apply chemical and process engineering principles to design, scale-up, and troubleshoot food manufacturing processes, focusing on nutrient retention, product stability, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage the entire technical lifecycle of a product, collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to ensure successful and timely launches.
  • Conduct comprehensive shelf-life studies, including sensory and analytical testing, to ensure products maintain their quality, safety, and consumer acceptability standards over time.
  • Source, evaluate, and qualify new raw materials and ingredients from a global network of vendors, assessing them for nutritional value, functionality, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain viability.
  • Author detailed technical reports, scientific papers, and internal presentations to effectively communicate research findings, project progress, and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with software and data engineers to define functional requirements for digital tools and platforms that deliver personalized nutrition advice or manage nutritional data at scale.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations for production deviations or quality issues related to nutritional composition, texture, or flavor, implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
  • Evaluate and implement novel processing technologies (e.g., high-pressure processing, extrusion, microencapsulation) to improve nutritional profiles and create innovative product formats.
  • Ensure all product development activities and manufacturing protocols adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety systems like HACCP.
