Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead end-to-end operational diagnostic projects to identify root causes of underperformance, quantify opportunity (cost, time, quality), and develop prioritized, business-aligned improvement roadmaps.
  • Design, document and optimize core business processes using Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC, and BPMN to remove waste, reduce variation, and standardize best practices across locations and functions.

  • Apply advanced data analytics and visualization (SQL, Python/R, Tableau/Power BI, Excel modeling) to analyze operational datasets, uncover patterns, and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Implement performance management frameworks and operational KPIs (throughput, cycle time, yield, OTIF, cost-per-unit) and develop dashboards and scorecards to monitor ongoing performance and governance.
  • Partner with IT and systems teams to identify automation and digitalization opportunities (RPA, workflow automation, WMS/TMS enhancements), define requirements and support implementation and change adoption.
  • Establish and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and governance models to ensure sustainability and scalability of improvements.
  • Facilitate change management: develop communication plans, training materials, stakeholder engagement strategies and adoption metrics to ensure new processes are embedded into daily operations.

  • Drive pilot and scale programs — design, measure and evaluate pilots, create rollout plans, and manage program governance to scale successful pilots across regions or business units.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and briefings: prepare concise, data-driven summaries and recommendations for leadership and board-level stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor junior consultants, analysts and operations staff in process improvement methodologies, analytics techniques and project delivery best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and regulatory requirements while re-engineering processes; incorporate risk mitigation and audit controls into solutions.
