Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Develop and implement integrated outreach strategies and annual outreach plans that align with organizational priorities, target audiences, and measurable KPIs to increase program participation and community impact.
- Identify, research, and prioritize community stakeholders, grassroots organizations, schools, faith-based institutions, local businesses, and public agencies for partnership and collaboration.

- Design and run digital outreach campaigns across email, social media, and paid channels; optimize messaging, A/B test creative and subject lines, and report on open, click-through, and conversion metrics.
- Conduct community needs assessments, focus groups, and stakeholder interviews to gather insights that inform outreach priorities, messaging, and program design.
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and recognition programs to support outreach events and program delivery while maintaining volunteer records and certifications.
- Serve as the public-facing representative of the organization at community forums, neighborhood meetings, coalition gatherings, and media opportunities to advocate for programs and raise awareness.
- Collaborate with program managers, marketing, fundraising, and data teams to align outreach activities with program goals, funding timelines, content calendars, and brand standards.
- Negotiate and secure in-kind partners, sponsorships, venue agreements, and local vendor contracts; manage vendor relationships and ensure agreed deliverables are met.
- Track and analyze outreach metrics (attendance, conversions, partnerships formed, engagement rates) and prepare clear, actionable reports and presentations for leadership and funders.
- Draft and support grant applications, partnership proposals, and donor-facing materials that articulate outreach needs, expected outcomes, and community impact.
- Design culturally competent outreach approaches that respect and address language needs, accessibility, and barriers to participation; coordinate translation and interpretation services as needed.

- Pilot new outreach channels, partnerships, and program delivery models; document outcomes, lessons learned, and scale recommendations.
