Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead, mentor, and cultivate a dedicated team of pest control technicians, providing continuous on-the-job training, formal coaching, and performance management to ensure exceptional service quality and professional growth.

  • Conduct regular and thorough quality assurance inspections and in-field ride-alongs to verify adherence to company service protocols, stringent safety standards, and all federal, state, and local government regulations.
  • Champion and enforce a robust safety-first culture by rigorously implementing all safety policies, leading regular safety briefings, and ensuring the correct and consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Expertly handle and resolve escalated customer complaints and complex service issues, engaging directly with clients to diagnose problems, provide solutions, and maintain high levels of satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Develop and execute strategic service plans and initiatives designed to grow the existing customer base, increase service density, and successfully expand service offerings within the designated geographic territory.

  • Ensure that all service personnel maintain requisite state and local licensing and certifications, diligently tracking renewal deadlines and coordinating access to necessary continuing education units (CEUs).
  • Critically analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as technician productivity, customer retention rates, lead generation, and sales growth, preparing detailed performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Forge a strong, collaborative partnership with the sales team to identify and pursue new commercial and residential business opportunities, lending technical expertise during client consultations and site assessments.
  • Manage the branch's vehicle fleet, which includes coordinating routine maintenance schedules, conducting vehicle inspections, and ensuring all trucks are clean, professionally presented, and properly stocked.

  • Oversee and approve payroll for branch employees, ensuring complete accuracy in recorded hours, commission calculations, and overtime payments in accordance with labor laws.
  • Lead engaging and productive weekly team meetings to cascade company announcements, review key performance metrics against goals, and facilitate the sharing of best practices and field experiences.
