Primary Functions

Proactively patrol designated geographic areas by vehicle, on foot, or by other means to deter criminal activity and provide a visible, reassuring community presence.

Provide credible, clear, and professional testimony in various legal settings, such as depositions, grand jury hearings, and criminal court trials.
Mediate interpersonal conflicts and civil disputes, employing effective de-escalation techniques to resolve situations peacefully and prevent escalation.
Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic at accident scenes, public gatherings, and during periods of traffic congestion to ensure safety and an orderly flow.
