Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Oversee the complete operational and administrative functions of the practice to ensure maximum efficiency and the consistent delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop, monitor, and manage the annual operational and capital budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and providing regular P&L variance reports to physicians and owners.

- Ensure the practice maintains strict compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other state and federal guidelines, by conducting regular audits and staff training.
- Strategically manage provider schedules and patient appointment templates to maximize provider productivity and patient access to care, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with payers, vendors, and service providers to secure favorable terms, control operational costs, and maintain strong business partnerships.
- Drive the implementation and optimization of the Practice Management (PM) and Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems, ensuring staff proficiency and data integrity.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to support practice growth, including service line expansion, marketing initiatives, and physician recruitment strategies.
- Manage the physical facility, including overseeing maintenance, housekeeping, security, and space planning to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics (e.g., patient volume, wait times, collection rates) to identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and present data-driven recommendations to leadership.
