Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers, providing guidance on best practices, career growth, and day-to-day challenges.
  • Define and champion the overarching product vision and strategy for your product line, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Oversee the development and management of the product roadmap, balancing innovation, customer requests, and technical debt to drive maximum business value.
  • Drive the complete product lifecycle management, from market research and requirements gathering to product launch, performance monitoring, and end-of-life.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to communicate product strategy, progress against goals, and strategic recommendations for future investment.
  • Foster deep cross-functional partnerships with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market execution.
  • Champion a user-centric approach by leading market analysis, competitive research, and user feedback initiatives to uncover and validate customer needs.
  • Translate complex business needs and user problems into clear, well-defined product requirements, epics, and user stories for the development teams.
  • Establish and monitor key product metrics (KPIs) and OKRs to track performance, measure success, and inform future product iterations.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations by providing transparent and consistent communication regarding product timelines, dependencies, and risks.
  • Act as the primary evangelist for your product portfolio, both internally and externally, articulating the value proposition to customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Lead prioritization efforts for new features and enhancements using structured frameworks that balance strategic importance, user impact, and development effort.
  • Facilitate and guide product discovery sessions, design sprints, and brainstorming workshops to generate and refine innovative product ideas.
  • Ensure the product backlog is well-maintained, prioritized, and clearly understood by the development team to enable efficient and effective sprints.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Product Marketing, ensuring successful product launches and market adoption.
  • Analyze product usage data and user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and new feature development.
  • Resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks for the product and development teams to ensure forward momentum on key initiatives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to direct reports to foster professional development and team excellence.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Define and implement standardized product management processes and frameworks to improve team efficiency, consistency, and overall quality of work.

  • Agile & Scrum Methodologies: Deep understanding and practical experience leading teams in Agile environments.
  • Data Analysis & A/B Testing: Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude) and basic SQL to derive insights and make data-informed decisions.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Familiarity with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Balsamiq to effectively collaborate with UX/UI teams.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar agile certification is a plus.
