Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions

- Manage and stage raw materials, components, and supplies required for production runs, ensuring the correct materials are available to prevent line stoppages.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and general workplace safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance personnel, and supervisors to implement process improvements, enhance efficiency, and resolve complex production issues.
- Execute equipment changeovers efficiently and accurately to switch between different product runs, minimizing non-productive time and ensuring a quick startup.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of tooling, spare parts, and consumable supplies needed for machine operation and maintenance tasks.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for production defects or equipment failures to help develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Assist in the training and mentoring of new or less experienced technicians and operators on equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
