Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Assist with day-to-day quality assurance and quality control activities across operations.
- Support inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products against specifications.
- Maintain accurate quality records, logs, and databases in accordance with quality system requirements.
- Assist in identifying, documenting, and tracking nonconformances and quality issues.
- Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes by collecting data and monitoring action status.
- Review production or service records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Assist with internal audits and preparation for external or customer audits.
- Ensure controlled documents such as SOPs, work instructions, and forms are current and accessible.
- Support calibration tracking and record-keeping for inspection and testing equipment.
- Assist with quality-related training coordination and training record maintenance.
- Communicate quality issues promptly to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.
- Support supplier quality activities, including documentation review and issue tracking.
- Assist with customer complaint investigations and documentation.
- Perform basic data analysis to identify trends in defects, deviations, or process performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing errors and improving quality outcomes.
- Assist with change control activities by updating records and documentation.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of quality work areas and files.
