Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Conduct rigorous in-process and final inspections of products, components, and raw materials to ensure they conform to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and meticulously maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 or other relevant industry standards.
- Identify, document, and thoroughly investigate non-conformances, product defects, and process deviations, and spearhead the implementation of effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

- Review and approve production batch records, testing data, certificates of analysis, and other critical quality-related documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Create detailed inspection reports, audit summaries, and quality performance metrics (e.g., defect rates, first-pass yield) for presentation to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in and, at times, lead internal and external quality audits, including supplier evaluations and regulatory agency inspections, to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Train production personnel and new hires on quality control standards, inspection techniques, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and the proper use of quality documentation.
- Collaborate with R&D and Engineering departments during new product development to establish robust quality requirements, inspection criteria, and testing protocols.
- Monitor production lines and manufacturing processes to ensure they are operating within defined control limits and are capable of consistently producing compliant products.

Required Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills (Technical)
- Deep proficiency in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and a strong understanding of standards like ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949.
- Expertise in quality assurance methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Hands-on experience with a variety of inspection tools and metrology equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, vision systems).
- Practical knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and the ability to use data to monitor process stability and capability.
- Advanced ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and product specifications.
