Primary Functions
- Accurately interpret and execute the radiation treatment plan as prescribed and documented by the radiation oncology team, ensuring all parameters are precisely followed.

- Educate patients and their families on the radiation therapy process, what to expect during treatment, and potential side effects, offering clear explanations and emotional support.
- Monitor the patient's physical and psychological well-being before, during, and after treatment, reporting any changes, side effects, or concerns to the nursing staff and radiation oncologist immediately.
- Practice and enforce all radiation safety protocols (ALARA - As Low As Reasonably Achievable) to protect the patient, yourself, and the public from unnecessary radiation exposure.
