Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Oversee the comprehensive facilities management, including all hard and soft services, for a portfolio of 15-30+ sites across a large geographic region, ensuring operational consistency and excellence.
- Develop, manage, and execute the regional facilities operating (OpEx) and capital (CapEx) budgets, including detailed forecasting, monthly variance analysis, and identifying strategic cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of remote and on-site facilities staff, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement through regular coaching and performance management.
- Direct all preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for critical building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building envelope to maximize asset life and minimize business disruption.
- Manage the full lifecycle of third-party vendor and supplier relationships, from sourcing and RFP processes to contract negotiation, performance management (KPIs/SLAs), and quality assurance.
- Ensure all facilities within the region strictly adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, ADA, and local building codes, and lead audit and inspection readiness programs.
- Champion and implement robust Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs, conduct risk assessments, and manage incident reporting and investigation to cultivate a "safety-first" culture.
- Lead and manage multiple small-to-medium scale facilities projects concurrently, including office relocations, renovations, space reconfigurations, and new equipment installations from concept to completion.
- Develop and implement regional emergency preparedness and business continuity plans, acting as the primary incident commander for facilities-related emergencies within the region.
- Partner with corporate real estate teams on strategic initiatives such as site selection, lease administration, new site build-outs, and property dispositions.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other facilities management software to manage work orders, track assets, and generate performance analytics to drive data-informed decisions.
- Conduct regular site inspections and condition assessments across the portfolio to proactively identify deficiencies, develop remediation plans, and prioritize capital investments.
- Drive the implementation of corporate sustainability and energy management initiatives at the regional level, tracking utility consumption and identifying opportunities for reduction.
- Serve as the primary liaison between facilities and senior regional leadership, providing regular, transparent updates on performance, projects, and critical issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including IT, HR, Security, and business unit leaders, to ensure cohesive and integrated workplace services.
- Oversee regional space planning and occupancy management, ensuring efficient use of space and accommodating headcount changes in partnership with business leaders.
- Establish and standardize best practices, policies, and procedures for facilities operations across the region to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Manage physical security systems and protocols in coordination with the corporate security team, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
- Lead customer service efforts for all facility-related requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution and maintaining high levels of internal client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present compelling business cases for capital projects and operational improvements to executive leadership.

Education & Experience
Educational Background
Minimum Education:
