Primary Functions

- Conduct regular, in-depth site visits to assess clinical operations, identify areas for improvement, and provide hands-on coaching and support to facility-level teams.
- Analyze key clinical performance indicators (KPIs), such as quality measures, patient satisfaction scores, and incident reports, to identify trends and implement targeted action plans.
- Lead the regional strategy for infection prevention and control, ensuring robust programs are in place and consistently followed to protect both patients and staff.
- Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership to develop and manage clinical budgets, oversee staffing models, and ensure fiscally responsible use of resources without compromising patient care.
- Mentor, train, and develop Directors of Nursing, fostering their leadership skills and creating a strong succession pipeline for clinical management roles within the organization.

- Spearhead regional quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives, guiding teams through root cause analysis and the development of sustainable solutions.
- Serve as a key point of contact during state/federal surveys and complaint investigations, providing expert guidance and support to ensure positive outcomes.
- Manage the clinical aspects of onboarding new facilities or service lines within the region, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into organizational standards.
- Mediate and resolve complex clinical or interpersonal issues that are escalated beyond the facility level, demonstrating strong conflict resolution skills.
- Evaluate and approve clinical staffing plans and PPD (per patient day) metrics, ensuring they align with census, acuity, and budgetary constraints.
