Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, strategic sales plan to penetrate the assigned territory, achieve ambitious sales targets, and drive significant expansion of the customer base.
- Proactively identify, qualify, and cultivate a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through a variety of methods, including strategic networking, targeted prospecting, cold outreach, and leveraging industry connections.
- Master and articulate the company's value proposition, effectively demonstrating how our products and services solve clients' specific business problems and deliver tangible ROI.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial lead generation and qualification through to proposal, negotiation, and successful contract closure, ensuring a smooth and professional process.
- Build and maintain exceptionally strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Conduct high-impact sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, tailoring the content to address their unique needs, objectives, and pain points.
- Skillfully lead and navigate complex contract negotiations with prospective clients, working collaboratively with legal and finance teams to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
- Develop a deep, expert-level understanding of the market landscape, including emerging trends, market shifts, and the competitive environment, to strategically position the company for success.
- Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
- Consistently achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs) within the assigned region.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide market intelligence and support the development of effective lead-generation campaigns and sales collateral.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting and pipeline reports to senior management, offering clear insights into regional performance and market dynamics.
- Onboard new clients by working closely with customer success and implementation teams to ensure a seamless transition and set the foundation for long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the voice of the customer, gathering and relaying crucial feedback to internal product, marketing, and leadership teams to inform future strategy and product development.
- Maintain an expert-level knowledge of the company's full suite of products and services, including their technical specifications, applications, and key differentiators.
- Create and manage a detailed territory plan that outlines specific strategies for penetrating key accounts and verticals.
- Identify and develop relationships with key industry influencers, partners, and referral sources to create new channels for business development.
- Drive the adoption of company solutions within existing accounts by identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business cases and proposals that clearly quantify the value and impact of our solutions for senior-level decision-makers.
- Respond to and manage the process for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) in a timely and professional manner.
