Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients' health history, physical condition, and specific concerns to determine appropriate massage therapy treatments.
- Develop and propose personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that outline goals, session frequency, and recommended modalities to address client needs.
- Perform a variety of therapeutic massage techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and sports massage.
- Analyze client posture, gait, and range of motion to identify underlying causes of pain and muscular imbalances.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide them with self-care guidance, including remedial exercises, stretching routines, and postural awareness techniques.
- Meticulously maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client records, including assessment findings, treatment notes (SOAP format), and progress reports.
- Monitor client progress and responses to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their comfort levels, pain tolerance, and feedback during sessions, ensuring a safe and positive experience.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic, such as chiropractors, physiotherapists, and acupuncturists, to provide integrated and holistic patient care.
- Obtain informed consent from clients before initiating any treatment, clearly explaining the proposed techniques and their potential effects.

Educational Background
Minimum Education:

- Valid liability and malpractice insurance.
Preferred Education:
