Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Proactively engage with every customer, creating a welcoming and personalized shopping environment to understand their needs, preferences, and motivations.
- Develop and maintain a deep, expert-level knowledge of all products, including features, benefits, materials, brand history, and care instructions to provide compelling and accurate information.
- Drive sales performance to consistently meet or exceed individual and store-wide sales goals, KPIs (like UPT and ATV), and other performance benchmarks.
- Guide customers through the entire sales journey, from initial discovery and product selection to fitting room assistance and final purchase, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Execute advanced sales techniques, including suggestive selling, cross-selling, and up-selling, to maximize sales opportunities and enhance the customer's purchase.
- Build and cultivate a loyal client portfolio through proactive clienteling, including personalized outreach, follow-up communication, appointment scheduling, and notifying clients of new arrivals or promotions.
- Masterfully handle and overcome customer objections by reframing challenges as opportunities and providing solutions that lead to a successful sale and customer satisfaction.
- Process customer transactions with precision and efficiency using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including handling cash, credit, and gift card payments, as well as returns and exchanges.
- Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the company's values and service standards in every interaction to build brand affinity and trust.
- Manage customer service issues with empathy and professionalism, de-escalating situations and finding effective resolutions to ensure a positive outcome.
- Actively participate in product and sales training sessions to continuously sharpen skills and stay current with new collections, technologies, and selling strategies.
- Support in-store events, promotions, and product launches by engaging with attendees, demonstrating products, and contributing to a high-energy, successful event.
- Provide expert styling and fitting advice, helping customers build outfits and find the perfect items that meet their functional needs and personal style.
Secondary Functions
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of visual merchandising standards, ensuring the sales floor is always pristine, organized, and visually appealing according to brand directives.
- Participate actively in all inventory management processes, including receiving and unpacking shipments, ticketing merchandise, and organizing the stockroom for efficiency.
- Support regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
