Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Actively engage customers on the sales floor, creating a welcoming and personalized shopping environment to foster brand loyalty and repeat business.
  • Develop and maintain a deep, comprehensive knowledge of all product lines, including features, benefits, and brand stories, to effectively answer customer inquiries and provide expert recommendations.
  • Execute the full sales process from initial greeting to closing the sale, utilizing consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and drive revenue growth.
  • Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems with accuracy and efficiency, handling various transaction types including sales, returns, exchanges, and gift card processing.
  • Diligently build and maintain a client book, performing proactive outreach to inform loyal customers of new arrivals, promotions, and exclusive events.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of visual merchandising standards, ensuring the sales floor is always pristine, well-organized, and visually appealing.
  • Participate in all aspects of inventory management, including receiving shipments, unboxing merchandise, steaming garments, and conducting regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Uphold all store operational and safety procedures, including opening and closing duties, to maintain a secure and efficient store environment.
  • Strive to consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other store-level goals set by management.
  • Expertly handle customer complaints and issues with empathy and professionalism, seeking to find a positive resolution that aligns with company policy.
  • Promote and process applications for the brand's loyalty programs, credit cards, or other customer-centric initiatives to enhance customer lifetime value.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness regarding loss prevention, actively monitoring the sales floor to mitigate shrink and protect company assets.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless store operations, including providing sales floor coverage and assisting colleagues during peak traffic times.
  • Replenish merchandise on the sales floor from the stockroom to ensure all sizes and styles are represented and easily accessible to customers.
  • Provide tailored product demonstrations and fittings, educating customers on proper use, care, and styling to build confidence in their purchase.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide valuable insights and feedback to the store management team.
  • Support in-store marketing events and promotions, actively participating in setup, customer engagement, and breakdown to ensure successful execution.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of store cleanliness and organization in all areas, including the sales floor, fitting rooms, and stockroom.
  • Communicate customer feedback and product requests to the management team to help inform buying decisions and service improvements.
  • Process and manage special orders, online order pickups, and ship-from-store requests with precision and a high level of customer communication.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Experience Requirements
