Primary Functions

  • Order and expertly interpret a wide range of laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to assess disease activity and progression.
  • Administer intra-articular injections and other office-based procedures for pain management and inflammation control in affected joints.
  • Provide extensive patient education regarding their chronic condition, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and strategies for self-management to empower them in their healthcare journey.
  • Manage the acute and chronic manifestations of musculoskeletal and systemic autoimmune diseases, coordinating care during flare-ups and periods of remission.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists, to provide holistic patient care.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring comprehensive documentation of all clinical encounters, decisions, and communications.
  • Evaluate patients for osteoporosis and develop comprehensive prevention and treatment strategies, including bone density scan interpretation and management.
  • Provide expert consultation to other physicians and healthcare providers on complex rheumatologic cases, offering diagnostic and therapeutic guidance.

  • A valid, unrestricted state medical license and DEA registration.
