Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Proactively research, identify, and prospect potential clients through various channels, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases, and company-provided lists to build a robust top-of-funnel pipeline.
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting activities, including personalized cold emails, cold calls, and social media outreach to generate initial interest.
- Learn and execute proven strategies for engaging key decision-makers within target accounts, navigating organizational structures to reach the right contacts.
- Master our company's value proposition and be able to articulate it clearly and compellingly to a diverse range of potential customers.
- Conduct initial discovery and qualification calls to understand a prospect's business needs, pain points, and objectives, determining if they are a good fit for our solutions.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against a defined set of criteria to ensure they meet the standards for a sales-qualified lead (SQL).
- Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for our senior Account Executives, managing their calendars and ensuring a smooth hand-off.
- Craft compelling and personalized email sequences using sales engagement platforms like Outreach or SalesLoft to nurture leads and drive engagement.
- Meticulously track all prospecting and engagement activities in our CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring all data is clean, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly quotas for key performance indicators (KPIs) such as outbound activities, conversations, and qualified meetings set.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies and messaging.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team on the quality of leads generated from various campaigns and channels.
- Develop a deep understanding of our target market, including key industries, customer personas, and competitive landscape.
- Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching to continuously improve your sales skills and product knowledge.
- Utilize prospecting tools like ZoomInfo, Lusha, or Apollo.io to find accurate contact information and company intelligence.
- Experiment with and refine your outreach messaging to improve response rates and conversion, conducting A/B tests on subject lines and call scripts.
- Overcome objections from prospective customers by actively listening, understanding their concerns, and providing relevant information.
- Maintain a positive and resilient attitude in the face of rejection, understanding that it's a natural part of the sales development process.
- Act as a brand ambassador, providing a professional and positive experience for every prospect you interact with.
- Prepare and present weekly reports on your individual performance, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
