Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conduct high-volume prospecting to generate qualified leads through meticulous research, cold calling, and strategic email outreach.
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate new sales opportunities by deeply understanding prospective client needs and business challenges.
  • Master and articulate the company's value proposition, effectively communicating how our solutions address specific pain points for potential customers.
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives with key decision-makers in target accounts.
  • Utilize and maintain our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) with a high degree of accuracy, logging all interactions and tracking lead progression meticulously.
  • Develop and execute targeted outbound campaigns using a multi-channel approach, including phone, email, and social media platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Research target accounts to identify key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers, building comprehensive and accurate contact lists.
  • Nurture early-stage leads over time, building rapport and maintaining engagement until they are ready for a formal sales conversation.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality from inbound campaigns and help refine lead scoring criteria.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities and appointments set.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market activities, and the competitive landscape to effectively position our offerings and identify new business opportunities.
  • Craft compelling, personalized, and persuasive email copy that drives high open and response rates.
  • Manage and overcome prospect objections by employing active listening and strategic questioning to uncover underlying needs.
  • Follow a structured sales development process and playbook while also suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize sales enablement tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or Apollo.io to build targeted prospect lists and gather intelligence.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on lead generation activities, pipeline development, and performance against key metrics.
  • Work in close alignment with assigned Account Executives to develop and implement strategic territory and account plans.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and coaching sessions to continuously refine your skills and sales acumen.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the sales organization, representing our brand with a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Engage in social selling activities by sharing relevant content and interacting with prospects on professional networks to build your personal brand and credibility.
