Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional projects within the sales organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders to support overarching business goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdowns, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies using standard project management methodologies.
  • Act as the primary liaison between sales, marketing, IT, finance, and product teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project goals and dependencies.
  • Drive the optimization of the sales process by identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, then designing and implementing effective solutions.
  • Manage the implementation and integration of new sales technologies and CRM enhancements (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), including vendor selection, configuration, and user adoption strategies.
  • Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth transitions and high adoption rates for new processes, tools, and sales methodologies.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including project charters, status reports, risk and issue logs, and post-mortem analyses.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing clear and concise updates to executive leadership and project stakeholders on progress, risks, and key decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales performance data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for strategic initiatives and process improvements.
  • Partner with sales leadership to develop and refine the go-to-market strategy for new products, services, or market segments.
  • Design and implement pilot programs to test new sales strategies or tools, measuring their impact and providing data-driven recommendations for broader rollout.
  • Support the annual sales planning and territory design process by providing project management structure and analytical support.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Enablement team to develop training materials and programs that support the successful launch of project-driven initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success and business impact of completed projects.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and partners to ensure they meet contractual obligations and project deliverables.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather business requirements and ensure proposed solutions meet the needs of the end-users.
  • Proactively identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to minimize their impact on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the sales organization by promoting best practices in project management and operational excellence.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on sales processes and systems, providing guidance and support to the wider sales team.
  • Prepare and present compelling business cases and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to secure buy-in and resources for new projects.
