Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Actively source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, strategic outbound cold calls, and personalized email campaigns.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory or account plan to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand a prospect's business challenges, key objectives, and decision-making processes.
  • Deliver compelling, customized sales presentations and product demonstrations that clearly articulate the value proposition and address specific client pain points.
  • Masterfully guide prospects through the entire sales cycle, from initial discovery and qualification to negotiation, contract execution, and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by becoming a trusted advisor and strategic resource.
  • Diligently follow up on proposals and quotes to move opportunities forward and overcome objections.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to create mutually beneficial agreements that ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales management team to develop accurate sales forecasts and build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Stay deeply informed about the company's product offerings, competitive landscape, and key industry trends to effectively position our solutions.

Secondary Functions

  • Maintain a meticulous and up-to-date record of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status within the company's CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and contribute to the development of effective campaigns and sales collateral.
  • Partner with the Customer Success or Account Management teams to ensure a smooth and successful post-sale handover for new clients.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company, generate leads, and build professional connections.
  • Participate in regular sales team meetings, training sessions, and coaching workshops to continuously hone skills and share best practices.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to the product development team to help shape the future direction of our offerings.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues or concerns that may arise during the sales process, coordinating with other departments as needed.

  • Forecasting & Reporting: Ability to analyze sales data to create accurate revenue forecasts and performance reports.

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range:

  • Experience selling within a similar industry (e.g., SaaS, Technology, Medical Devices, Financial Services) and understanding of its specific market dynamics.
