Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Actively participate in an intensive, structured training program covering our product suite, competitive landscape, and modern sales methodologies.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through a high volume of strategic outbound cold calls, personalized emails, and social media outreach (LinkedIn).
  • Master the art of prospecting by researching and identifying key decision-makers within target accounts and verticals.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand a prospect's business challenges, existing processes, and critical needs.
  • Learn and apply lead qualification frameworks (like BANT or MEDDIC) to determine if a prospect is a good fit for our solutions.
  • Articulate the company's value proposition clearly and compellingly to a diverse range of potential customers over the phone and in writing.
  • Shadow senior Account Executives on discovery calls, product demonstrations, and negotiation sessions to gain firsthand exposure to the full sales cycle.
  • Meticulously maintain and update lead and prospect information in our CRM (Salesforce) to ensure data accuracy and support pipeline forecasting.
  • Consistently meet and exceed weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for outreach activities, conversations, and qualified meetings set.
  • Develop and refine compelling sales scripts and email templates in collaboration with sales and marketing leadership.
  • Handle and overcome initial objections from prospects with confidence, professionalism, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Schedule qualified product demonstrations and appointments for the senior sales team, ensuring a seamless handoff.
  • Build and nurture a pipeline of early-stage leads, establishing professional and credible relationships from the first touchpoint.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market activities, and competitor movements to effectively position our offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and help refine lead generation campaigns.
  • Practice and role-play sales scenarios with peers and mentors to continuously improve your pitching and communication skills.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on your individual activity metrics, challenges, and successes to sales management.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our ideal customer profile (ICP) to focus outreach efforts on the most promising accounts.
  • Utilize sales enablement tools like SalesLoft, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to automate and optimize your workflow.
  • Contribute to a positive, high-energy team culture by sharing learnings, celebrating wins, and supporting your colleagues.

Secondary Functions

  • Support senior sales team members in preparing for client meetings, crafting proposals, and managing follow-up communications.
  • Contribute to the organization's go-to-market strategy by providing frontline feedback on prospect sentiment and market reception.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to understand common client pain points and success stories, which can be used in your outreach.

  • CRM Proficiency: Foundational knowledge of or ability to quickly learn CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Sales Engagement Tools: Familiarity with or aptitude for tools such as Outreach, SalesLoft, or similar platforms.
  • Lead Sourcing: Experience using professional networking and data platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.
  • Productivity Suites: Strong command of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or Google Workspace.
  • Communication Tech: Comfortable using video conferencing tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) for internal and external meetings.
