Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the brand's ethos and values in every customer and team interaction.
  • Proactively engage with customers to create a welcoming environment, assess their needs, and provide personalized assistance.
  • Drive sales by leveraging deep product knowledge to recommend, style, and educate customers on features, benefits, and promotions.
  • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience, from initial greeting to final sale, ensuring each customer feels valued and understood.
  • Master and efficiently operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges, with high accuracy.
  • Promote and process applications for the brand’s loyalty program and credit card, clearly articulating the benefits to customers.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness on the sales floor to prevent loss and ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone.
  • Manage fitting room experiences by clearing rooms, returning merchandise to the floor, and assisting customers with sizing and styling.
  • Consistently strive to meet and exceed personal and store sales goals, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and foster long-term brand loyalty.
  • Stay current on all product knowledge, brand campaigns, and promotional activities to provide accurate and exciting information.
  • Confidently handle customer issues and concerns, escalating to a manager when necessary to ensure a satisfactory resolution.

Secondary Functions

  • Assist in the execution of visual merchandising directives, including folding, sizing, and creating displays that are neat, organized, and on-brand.
  • Support the efficient processing of incoming shipments, including unboxing, sensor-tagging, and placing new merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Perform regular replenishment of the sales floor from the stockroom to ensure all sizes and styles are available for customers.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, cash wrap, fitting rooms, and stockroom.
  • Participate in regular floor-sets, marketing setups, and promotional changes as directed by the store leadership team.
  • Uphold all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to cash handling, safety, and asset protection.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with the leadership team to support a cohesive and productive work environment.
  • Assist with inventory-related tasks, such as cycle counts and organizing the stockroom, to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Point of Sale (POS) Operation: Proficiency in navigating and processing transactions on retail POS systems.
  • Cash Handling: Accuracy in managing cash, processing credit/debit payments, and providing correct change.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or currently enrolled in high school and in good standing.

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range: 0-1 years of experience in a customer-facing role. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity.

Preferred: Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or service-oriented environment is considered a strong asset but is not a requirement. A passion for the brand and a positive attitude are most important.
