Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Proactively engage with clients to build authentic, trust-based relationships, acting as their dedicated style advisor to understand their lifestyle and wardrobe needs.
- Deliver a world-class, personalized styling experience by curating head-to-toe looks, providing honest feedback, and educating clients on fit, fabric, and fashion trends.
- Drive personal and store sales goals by leveraging expert product knowledge, maximizing units per transaction, and converting walk-in traffic into loyal, repeat customers.
- Build and meticulously maintain a client book, utilizing CRM tools to track preferences, purchase history, and key dates to foster long-term relationships through proactive outreach.
- Master an in-depth knowledge of all seasonal collections, brand stories, and product features to articulate value and inspire clients.
- Manage the entire customer journey, from warm greetings and initial discovery to an efficient and enjoyable fitting room experience and a seamless checkout process.
- Schedule and flawlessly execute one-on-one styling appointments, preparing curated product selections in advance to create a highly personalized and efficient shopping session.
- Act as a brand evangelist, consistently embodying the company’s style, values, and service standards in every interaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients about new arrivals, in-store promotions, and exclusive events to encourage repeat visits and drive traffic.
- Achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales per hour (SPH), units per transaction (UPT), and client data capture rates.
- Expertly handle complex customer situations with empathy and professionalism, ensuring every client leaves with a positive impression of the brand.
- Curate compelling product assortments and style stories based on client profiles, seasonal trends, and in-store marketing initiatives.
Secondary Functions
- Support the maintenance of impeccable visual merchandising standards on the sales floor, including styling mannequins, organizing fixtures, and ensuring the store is consistently inspiring.
- Assist in processing and preparing new merchandise, including unboxing, steaming, and sensor-tagging, ensuring products are floor-ready in a timely manner.
- Participate actively in all inventory management activities, including regular cycle counts and stockroom organization, to ensure product availability and accuracy.
- Collaborate enthusiastically with fellow team members to create a positive, high-energy, and supportive store culture that prioritizes teamwork.
- Uphold all company policies and operational procedures, with a strong focus on loss prevention and asset protection protocols.
- Provide flexible support across various store functions as needed, including greeting at the entrance, assisting at the cash wrap, and maintaining fitting room standards.
- Actively participate in all team meetings, training sessions, and product knowledge seminars to continuously enhance your skills and expertise.
- Gather and relay valuable client feedback and product performance insights to the store management team to help inform future business decisions.
Required Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills (Technical)
- POS & CRM Proficiency: Experience operating Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions and using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or clienteling software to manage customer data.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrable ability to quickly learn and retain detailed information about fashion collections, including fabrics, fit, and care instructions.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs in a retail or commission-based environment.
- Visual Merchandising: A solid understanding of visual merchandising principles to help maintain an aesthetically pleasing and shoppable sales floor.
- Inventory Management: Familiarity with basic stock control processes, including receiving shipments and participating in inventory counts.

Educational Background

Experience Requirements
Typical Experience Range:
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role within retail, hospitality, or a related field.
