Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Supervise and lead a team of security officers, including managing schedules, assignments, and post orders to ensure optimal coverage and operational readiness.
- Conduct comprehensive training for new and existing security personnel on site-specific procedures, emergency response protocols, and customer service standards.
- Act as the primary on-site liaison with client representatives, fostering a strong professional relationship and addressing any security concerns or requests in a timely manner.

- Monitor and operate advanced security systems, including CCTV surveillance, access control panels, and alarm monitoring software, to maintain situational awareness.
- Manage the performance of the security team, providing regular coaching, feedback, and formal performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and update site-specific post orders and emergency response plans in collaboration with client management and company leadership.
- Coordinate emergency response efforts with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical services during critical incidents.
- Ensure all security equipment, including radios, vehicles, and computer systems, is properly maintained, inventoried, and in good working order.
- Investigate and document security breaches, employee misconduct, and other incidents, gathering evidence and preparing comprehensive reports for management.
- Administer and oversee the site's visitor management and badging process, ensuring all non-employees are properly vetted, logged, and escorted.
- Conduct regular shift briefings to disseminate important information, review recent events, and set clear expectations for the upcoming shift.
- Assist in the hiring and selection process for new security officers, participating in interviews and evaluating candidate suitability for the site.
- Uphold and enforce all company policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to security operations.
- Develop staffing plans and schedules to ensure consistent, high-quality security coverage while managing overtime and labor costs effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, employees, and visitors, representing the company with a high degree of professionalism.
