Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Proactively prospect, identify, and qualify new business opportunities for service contracts and maintenance agreements within a defined territory.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory sales plan to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial cold call and lead nurturing to conducting discovery meetings, presenting solutions, and closing deals.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing clients to drive contract renewals, identify upsell opportunities, and cross-sell additional services from the company's portfolio.
- Prepare and deliver compelling, high-impact sales presentations and product demonstrations to key decision-makers, including C-level executives, facility managers, and technical leads.
- Generate accurate and professional quotes, proposals, and responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposal) that are tailored to the specific needs and pain points of each client.
- Master and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company’s service offerings, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to effectively position our value proposition.
- Conduct regular on-site visits and business reviews with key clients to ensure satisfaction, reinforce the value of our services, and secure long-term partnerships.
- Diligently maintain and update all sales activities, customer information, pipeline status, and sales forecasts within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
- Collaborate closely with the field service, technical support, and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery and fulfillment.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure profitability while meeting customer requirements.
- Actively participate in industry trade shows, networking events, and professional organizations to build brand presence and generate new leads.
- Educate potential and existing customers on the financial and operational benefits of preventative maintenance and long-term service agreements versus transactional, break-fix solutions.
- Analyze sales performance data and market feedback to identify trends, refine sales strategies, and provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
- Achieve a high-volume of outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling, to build a sustainable pipeline.
- Address and resolve customer concerns and escalations in a timely and professional manner to ensure a high level of client retention.
- Drive the renewal process for all service contracts in your territory, beginning engagement well in advance of the expiration date to ensure continuity of service and revenue.
- Develop tailored service solutions by understanding the unique operational challenges and business goals of each client.
- Provide accurate and timely forecasting of sales and revenue projections to management for effective business planning.
- Work with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales collateral that effectively communicates the value of our service offerings.
