- Manage vendor and partner relationships for third-party integrations, commercial apps (Store apps), and professional services engagements; evaluate marketplace solutions against architecture principles.
- Establish security and identity integration patterns (SAML, OAuth, LDAP, SCIM), role-based access control (RBAC) models and secure development lifecycle practices for the ServiceNow platform.
- Provide pre-sales architecture support: scoping, technical estimations, solution demos, POC guidance and RFP responses to win ServiceNow transformation programs.
- Coordinate and lead incident postmortems, root cause analysis and long-term remediation for platform incidents, service degradations and security findings.
- Ensure observability and monitoring of ServiceNow instances using logging, event management feeds, Application Health dashboards and third-party APM where applicable.
- Define roadmaps and phased migration approaches for consolidating ServiceNow tenants, rationalizing customizations and modernizing legacy workflows to deliver measurable business value.
- Plan and manage release management and DevOps practices including source control, automated tests, CI/CD pipelines (where applicable), and update set discipline across environments.
- Evaluate, pilot and govern use of new ServiceNow capabilities (UI Builder, Next Experience, Graph APIs, AI/ML features) to accelerate digital transformation while preserving architecture integrity.
- Perform risk assessments and create mitigation plans for platform changes, integrations and data migrations, ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to design MID Server architecture, network/firewall requirements, credentials management and secure connectivity for Discovery and integrations.
Secondary Functions
