Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Proactively drive the full sales cycle for our service offerings, from initial prospecting and lead qualification through to successful deal closure and handover to the implementation team.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to identify high-potential prospects and verticals, ensuring a consistent and robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Master and articulate our complex service value propositions, demonstrating a deep understanding of our solutions' features, benefits, and competitive differentiators.
- Conduct compelling and customized virtual demonstrations of our service platforms and solutions, tailored to address the specific pain points and objectives of prospective clients.
- Skillfully manage complex negotiations with senior executives and decision-makers, navigating pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements to secure profitable new business.
- Meticulously maintain and update all sales activities, customer interactions, pipeline progression, and forecasting data within our CRM system (Salesforce.com).
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in prospective and client organizations, establishing yourself as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, meetings booked, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and contribute to the development of effective campaigns and sales collateral.
- Prepare and deliver professional, accurate, and timely sales proposals, quotes, and contracts that clearly outline the scope and value of our services.
- Engage in strategic outbound prospecting activities, including targeted cold calls, personalized email campaigns, and social selling (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Respond to and qualify inbound leads generated from marketing efforts, quickly assessing their needs and potential fit for our service solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to effectively position our services and handle objections with confidence and credibility.
- Partner with the Customer Success and Account Management teams to identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within our existing customer base.
- Provide accurate and reliable sales forecasts to management, contributing to predictable revenue planning and business strategy.
- Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development programs to continuously sharpen your sales skills and product knowledge.
Secondary Functions
- Support ad-hoc data requests and perform exploratory analysis on sales metrics to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Contribute insights from client conversations to the Product and Service Development teams, influencing the future roadmap and enhancement of our offerings.
- Collaborate with business units, particularly Marketing and Finance, to ensure seamless alignment on lead hand-offs, campaign execution, and contract processing.
- Participate actively in weekly team meetings, sprint planning sessions, and quarterly business reviews, sharing best practices and contributing to team success.
- Assist in the onboarding and mentoring of new Sales Development Representatives, sharing your expertise in prospecting and qualification.
- Gather and document customer success stories and testimonials that can be leveraged by the marketing team for case studies and promotional materials.
