Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build a robust and diverse pipeline of candidates for highly technical roles, including Software Engineering, Data Science, and DevOps.
- Proactively identify and engage top-tier passive talent through advanced sourcing techniques, including complex Boolean searches, X-Ray searches, and social media deep dives.
- Utilize a wide range of sourcing tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and industry-specific forums to uncover potential candidates.
- Craft personalized, compelling, and authentic outreach messages that resonate with a technical audience and yield high response rates.
- Conduct initial screening calls and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, technical skills, interest level, and cultural alignment.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with a network of passive candidates, nurturing them for current and future opportunities.
- Act as a strategic partner to Recruiters and Hiring Managers, providing market intelligence, talent mapping, and insights to shape recruiting strategies.
- Maintain impeccable data integrity within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring all candidate interactions and information are accurately tracked.
- Generate and present reports on sourcing metrics, pipeline health, and market trends to stakeholders, using data to inform decisions and highlight progress.
- Champion diversity and inclusion in all sourcing efforts, developing targeted strategies to attract and engage candidates from underrepresented backgrounds.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and sourcing best practices to continuously refine and improve your craft.
- Create and manage talent market maps to understand the competitive landscape and identify key pockets of talent.
- Qualify and present a consistent slate of interested and qualified candidates to the recruiting team for further evaluation.
- Act as a brand ambassador, providing an exceptional candidate experience from the very first point of contact.
- Research and recommend new and emerging sourcing tools and technologies that can enhance team productivity and reach.
- Collaborate on defining and calibrating job profiles and candidate personas with hiring managers to ensure a deep understanding of the requirements.
- Develop a deep understanding of our company's technology stack, products, and a competitive landscape to effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Drive the full top-of-funnel recruiting process, from initial research and discovery to the point of a candidate being submitted to a hiring manager.
- Partner with the recruiting team to develop and refine job descriptions that are accurate, inclusive, and appealing to technical candidates.
- Build and leverage a strong network within the tech community to generate referrals and gain market intelligence.
