Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Manage the full lifecycle of technology assets, including procurement, inventory tracking, deployment, maintenance, and responsible disposal of all hardware and software.
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to all end-users, troubleshooting issues with hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripherals in a timely and professional manner.
- Administer and maintain user accounts, access controls, and permissions across various platforms, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other SaaS applications.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and updating of operating systems, software applications, and security patches on all company endpoints (desktops, laptops, mobile devices).
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the local area network (LAN), wireless networks (Wi-Fi), and internet connectivity, escalating issues to service providers as needed.
- Develop and deliver technology training sessions and create user-friendly documentation (guides, FAQs, knowledge base articles) to empower users and promote IT best practices.
- Manage and maintain all audio/visual (A/V) equipment, including projectors, smart boards, and video conferencing systems, ensuring they are operational for meetings and events.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures, including Acceptable Use Policies (AUP) and data security protocols, to ensure compliance and a secure computing environment.
- Administer the organization's help desk ticketing system, ensuring all support requests are logged, prioritized, and resolved according to internal service level agreements (SLAs).
- Perform and verify regular data backups and test recovery procedures to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for new employee onboarding and offboarding, handling account lifecycle management and hardware provisioning.
- Manage the organization's Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform for provisioning and securing smartphones and tablets.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks to the network and systems.
Secondary Functions

- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi).
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

- Foundational knowledge of system and server administration, including Windows Server and virtualization concepts (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience managing A/V and video conferencing technologies (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms).
