Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Design, develop, and customize complex, high-quality travel itineraries for individuals, groups, and corporate clients based on their specific interests, preferences, and budget.
  • Act as the primary consultant and point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and insightful recommendations on destinations, accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities.
  • Manage the entire end-to-end booking process, from the initial inquiry and quoting phase to post-travel follow-up, ensuring all travel components are flawlessly confirmed and documented.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, professional relationships with a global network of suppliers, including hotels, ground handlers, and tour operators, to secure competitive rates and exclusive amenities for clients.
  • Conduct continuous, in-depth research on new and existing travel destinations, staying current with geopolitical events, safety advisories, local trends, and cultural nuances to provide accurate and relevant guidance.
  • Prepare detailed, compelling, and transparent travel proposals and quotes, clearly outlining the day-by-day itinerary, costs, inclusions, exclusions, and booking terms and conditions.
  • Proactively anticipate, manage, and resolve any client issues, travel disruptions, or itinerary changes that may arise before or during a trip, providing on-call support as needed.
  • Consistently meet and strive to exceed sales targets by effectively upselling and cross-selling ancillary products and services such as travel insurance, visa assistance, and premium experience upgrades.
  • Process client payments, supplier invoices, and refunds with precision and efficiency, adhering to company financial policies and payment schedules.
  • Create and diligently maintain comprehensive client profiles within the CRM system, documenting travel history, personal preferences, and feedback to foster long-term loyalty and facilitate future sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams by providing valuable frontline feedback to assist in the creation of new tour packages and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure all required travel documentation, including visas, passports, and health certificates, is correctly processed and communicated to clients well in advance of their departure date.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-departure briefings to clients, offering practical advice, destination-specific tips, and final document packages to enhance their travel readiness and overall experience.
  • Systematically gather and analyze post-trip feedback from clients to continuously refine and improve service quality, itinerary design, and supplier performance.
  • Maintain proficiency in using various Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Worldspan, as well as other proprietary travel booking platforms and software.

  • Prepare and present regular sales, booking, and activity reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators, market trends, and client feedback patterns.
  • Mentor and provide on-the-job training to junior travel staff or new team members, sharing best practices in itinerary planning, customer service, and sales techniques.

  • GDS Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of at least one major Global Distribution System (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) for air, car, and hotel bookings.
