Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions

- Conduct subject-matter research and consult SMEs to ensure accurate translations of specialized terminology and industry-specific concepts (e.g., legal clauses, medical procedures, technical specs).
- Prepare and deliver translated subtitles, captions, and transcripts for multimedia content, ensuring timing, readability, and cultural appropriateness.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, prioritize workload, and deliver high-quality translations within client SLA and turnaround expectations.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documents in compliance with NDAs, data protection policies, and industry-specific regulatory requirements.

- Format translated documents to match original layout (InDesign, Word, Excel, PDF) and perform light DTP adjustments or collaborate with DTP specialists to ensure presentation fidelity.
- Provide interpretation services (consecutive or simultaneous) for meetings, calls, and events when required, ensuring accurate and real-time communication between parties.
- Produce accurate time- and cost estimates for translation jobs, including word counts, complexity assessment, required deliverables, and suggested turnaround times.
