Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions

- Conduct thorough patient admissions, transfers, and discharges—completing medication reconciliation, patient and family education, follow-up instructions, durable medical equipment coordination, and timely documentation to support continuity of care.
- Triage emergency situations in fast-paced environments (ED, ICU) using evidence-based prioritization, initiating life-saving interventions such as ACLS/PALS protocols, and coordinating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams during codes and emergencies.
