Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Provide direct leadership, mentorship, and day-to-day supervision to a team of travel coordinators, including conducting performance evaluations, facilitating training, and managing work schedules.
- Oversee the entire booking process for air, hotel, car rental, and ground transportation, ensuring all arrangements are accurate, timely, and adhere to established travel policies.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex travel issues, itinerary changes, and traveler emergencies, providing swift and effective solutions 24/7 as needed.

- Conduct regular audits of travel bookings and expense reports to ensure 100% compliance with corporate travel and expense policies, identifying and addressing any deviations.
- Lead negotiations for corporate rates and contracts with local and global travel suppliers to drive cost savings and enhance traveler value.
- Develop, refine, and enforce corporate travel policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, control costs, and improve the traveler experience.
- Manage and configure the online booking tool (OBT) and travel-related software (like Concur), ensuring its functionality meets the needs of the organization and its travelers.
- Generate and analyze comprehensive travel data reports to identify spending trends, savings opportunities, and areas for policy improvement.
- Plan and coordinate travel logistics for large-scale events, conferences, and group meetings, including block bookings and charter arrangements.
- Monitor global events and security alerts to assess risks to travelers and implement duty-of-care protocols to ensure their safety and well-being.
