Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Lead and supervise the underwriting team to ensure consistent application of underwriting guidelines, sound risk selection and discipline across the portfolio, driving measurable improvements in loss ratios and profitability.

- Chair underwriting committee meetings, prepare materials that summarize portfolio trends, recommended policy changes, escalations and exception approvals for executive decision-making.
- Preserve strong documentation standards and knowledge management for precedents, policy interpretations and claim outcomes to support consistent decision-making and auditability.
