Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Lead end-to-end product design for web and mobile features, owning the discovery, ideation, prototyping, and launch phases to deliver measurable improvements in engagement, conversion, and retention.

- Collaborate closely with product managers to translate business goals and metrics into prioritized design hypotheses, success metrics, and iterative experiments (A/B tests).
- Lead usability testing sessions (moderated and unmoderated), synthesize insights, and turn findings into actionable design improvements and roadmapped optimizations.
- Communicate design rationale and trade-offs to engineering, data, marketing, and executive stakeholders through clear artifacts, presentations, and decision records.
- Produce pixel-perfect visual design assets, iconography, and typography systems that align with brand guidelines and scale across platforms.
- Define interaction patterns and micro-interactions (motion design) that improve clarity, affordance, and delight while keeping performance and accessibility in mind.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers on implementation details, provide annotated specs, and review builds to ensure fidelity to the intended UX and design system constraints.
- Translate product requirements into modular UI components and templates to accelerate feature delivery and maintain a coherent visual language across the product portfolio.
- Drive data-informed design by partnering with analytics and data science teams to define event tracking, set success metrics, and measure the impact of design changes.
- Prioritize and manage multiple design initiatives concurrently, balancing sprint commitments, design debt, technical constraints, and stakeholder timelines.
- Mentor and review work of junior designers and interns, providing constructive feedback, design critiques, and career development guidance.

- Identify and reduce UX debt by auditing existing funnels, proposing refactors, and delivering improvement plans that reduce cognitive load and improve task success rates.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging tools, accessibility patterns, and platform guidelines; propose innovations and experiment with new interaction models to keep the product competitive.
