Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Plan, design and execute end-to-end usability research programs (moderated lab testing, remote unmoderated studies, guerrilla testing) to evaluate new features, prototypes, and existing product flows; produce clear research plans, recruitment criteria, scripts, and test tasks aligned to product hypotheses and KPIs.

- Facilitate cross-functional discovery workshops, design sprints, co-creation sessions, and stakeholder interviews to align teams on user problems, success criteria, and usable solutions.
- Create and maintain user personas, mental models, task flows, and customer journey maps that inform product strategy, design decisions, and prioritization of usability improvements.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized usability backlog and roadmap, balancing quick wins and strategic investments; communicate trade-offs and ROI to senior stakeholders to secure investment in UX work.
- Lead longitudinal usability studies and longitudinal diary studies to observe behavior over time, identify retention and engagement drivers, and inform product lifecycle decisions.
