Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Define and own the end-to-end user experience architecture across multiple digital products and platforms.
  • Develop and maintain scalable information architecture, interaction models, and experience frameworks.
  • Translate business strategy and user research into coherent experience blueprints and design principles.
  • Lead the creation and evolution of enterprise design systems, component libraries, and UX standards.
  • Ensure consistency and usability across web, mobile, SaaS, and omnichannel user journeys.
  • Collaborate with product managers to align experience architecture with product roadmaps and KPIs.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure UX feasibility, performance, and technical alignment.
  • Establish governance models to ensure adherence to UX standards and best practices across teams.
  • Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative user research to inform architectural decisions.
  • Create user journey maps, service blueprints, and ecosystem diagrams to visualize complex experiences.
  • Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and compliance with WCAG and global usability standards.
  • Identify experience gaps and technical debt related to UX and propose scalable solutions.
  • Guide and mentor designers and UX practitioners on architectural thinking and systems design.
  • Evaluate and select UX tools, frameworks, and platforms that support scalable experience delivery.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders around user-centered solutions.
  • Influence executive stakeholders by clearly articulating the value of user-centered architecture.
  • Align customer experience, employee experience, and partner experience under a unified framework.
  • Define experience metrics and success criteria to measure usability, adoption, and satisfaction.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives by embedding UX architecture into enterprise systems.
  • Stay current on UX, IA, service design, and emerging technology trends to inform strategic decisions.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range: 7–12 years of progressive experience in UX, product design, or experience strategy roles

  • Proven track record of leading experience architecture across multiple products or teams
