Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead the end-to-end UX design for multiple product lines by defining product interaction models, information architecture, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes that align with business objectives and measurable user outcomes.
  • Define and drive the UX strategy and roadmap in collaboration with product leadership, translating business goals into prioritized user experiences and iterations.
  • Establish, evangelize, and maintain the organization’s design system—components, tokens, patterns, and documentation—to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability across web and mobile products.
  • Own cross-functional design execution by partnering with product managers, engineers, data analysts, and marketing to plan releases, scope UX work, and make trade-off decisions that balance user needs, technical constraints, and business value.
  • Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative user research—including usability testing, heuristic evaluations, diary studies, and analytics reviews—and convert insights into design improvements and product hypotheses.
  • Mentor and develop product designers and UX staff through structured feedback, design critiques, career development plans, and hiring support to grow team capability and design maturity.
  • Create and present compelling design artifacts and narratives (personas, JTBD frameworks, journey maps, prototypes) to stakeholders and executive audiences to secure alignment and investment.
  • Drive data-informed design decisions by defining success metrics, running A/B tests or multivariate experiments with product analytics teams, and iterating on the UX based on performance and behavioral data.
  • Define accessibility goals and ensure WCAG 2.1+ compliance across interfaces, overseeing audits, remediation plans, and inclusive design practices across the product lifecycle.
  • Architect interaction patterns and micro-interactions that improve user comprehension, reduce friction, and increase conversion, retention, or task completion rates.
  • Prototype rapid concepts using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or interactive prototyping platforms to validate designs with users and stakeholders before engineering handoff.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality design specifications and deliverables (component documentation, acceptance criteria, design tokens) to streamline handoff to engineering and reduce implementation ambiguity.
  • Lead discovery workshops, co-creation sessions, and design sprints with cross-functional teams to accelerate problem framing, ideation, and rapid validation.
  • Advocate for and operationalize user-centered processes across product development—incorporating continuous research, usability testing, and iterative improvements into agile workflows.

Minimum Education:
