Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop and lead end-to-end research initiatives for multi-product portfolios, defining research questions, selecting mixed-methods approaches (qualitative and quantitative), designing protocols, and overseeing recruitment to produce defensible, high-impact insights.
  • Conduct moderated and unmoderated usability studies (remote and in-person), including task design, session facilitation, note-taking, recording, and moderation, to evaluate product flows, interactions, and feature concepts.
  • Design and execute large-scale surveys, analyze responses statistically, and integrate survey findings with qualitative insights to quantify user needs, usage patterns, and satisfaction drivers.

  • Synthesize qualitative data from interviews, usability tests, and field studies into clear, structured deliverables (personas, user journeys, opportunity maps, affinity diagrams) that directly guide UX and product decisions.
  • Create and present research reports and executive-level briefings with clear evidence, prioritized recommendations, success metrics, and proposed experiments (A/B tests, prototypes) to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate user insights into prioritized product requirements, acceptance criteria, and prototypes for iterative validation.
  • Establish and manage participant recruitment pipelines and research panels, including screener creation, compensation strategies, and vendor coordination to ensure timely, diverse, and representative samples.
  • Design and implement metrics and usability KPIs (task success, error rates, time-on-task, SUS, NPS) to measure usability improvements pre- and post-release and to define success criteria for UX initiatives.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
