Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of UX designers and researchers, providing guidance on best practices and career development.
  • Lead the planning and execution of user experience strategies across multiple digital products or platforms.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define user requirements and experience goals.
  • Oversee user research activities, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies.
  • Translate user insights and business needs into clear UX roadmaps, design concepts, and interaction frameworks.
  • Ensure consistency in design systems, interaction patterns, and visual standards across all experiences.
  • Review and approve wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to ensure quality and usability.
  • Advocate for accessibility, inclusive design, and compliance with WCAG and usability standards.
  • Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives when making design decisions.
  • Establish and refine UX processes, documentation standards, and governance models.
  • Partner with engineering teams to support design handoff, implementation, and QA validation.
  • Facilitate design reviews, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration sessions.
  • Analyze UX metrics, usability findings, and qualitative feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage team workload, priorities, and timelines across multiple initiatives.
  • Contribute to product discovery, ideation, and innovation initiatives.
  • Communicate design rationale and user insights clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.
