Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Lead, hire, mentor and develop a team of UX/UI and interaction designers, setting clear performance goals, running regular 1:1s, and driving career progression plans to grow a scalable design organization.
- Define and own the UX and design strategy that aligns with company and product roadmaps; translate strategy into measurable objectives, priorities, and resourcing plans.

- Define and monitor UX success metrics (task success, time-on-task, NPS, SUS, conversion funnels) and use analytics (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics) to measure and iterate on experience outcomes.
- Facilitate design sprints, cross-functional workshops, ideation sessions, and co-creation meetings to accelerate problem solving and foster alignment across stakeholders.
- Review and provide constructive, actionable design critiques and QA design implementations to ensure high-quality user-facing experiences and adherence to brand standards.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design by integrating WCAG guidelines, running accessibility audits, and ensuring engineering implements semantic, keyboard- and screen reader-friendly UI.
- Drive product discovery activities β hypothesis framing, prototyping, and experimental validation (A/B tests) β to de-risk features and prioritize high-impact work.
- Own stakeholder communication: present research findings, design roadmaps, and ROI of UX initiatives to executives and cross-functional teams to secure buy-in and budget.

Secondary Functions
- Support ad-hoc design requests from product or marketing teams and triage requests to align work with strategic priorities.

Minimum Education:
